Southampton Football Club opted to secure their investment in IT for their new 32,000 seat St. Mary's Stadium. They used the professional services offering of J Brand to ensure that the IT systems would offer the Club the right level of service, resilience and value for money. Implementation of these systems was key to the stadium opening on time.
At Southampton, J Brand designed and procured the IT systems required working with, and on behalf of the Club on every aspect of design, ensuring that the requirements of the Club were met, integration was possible and value for money was achieved.
Working alongside the agencies and suppliers involved, J Brand was also responsible for the implementation of the IT systems into the stadium, ensuring that operational deadlines were met, thereby removing this pressured activity from Southampton FC.
A cohesive implementation plan was produced, drawing upon over 20 years experience in large scale IT implementation projects.
Following the successful opening of St. Mary's Stadium, the Southampton chairman stated:
