Having worked in some of the UK's biggest distribution centres, it would be no exaggeration to say that J Brand has extensive experience in the logistics vertical.
The massive increase of Wireless LANs in distribution centres has been a major driver for this vertical market becoming so successful for J Brand, with the total solution including:

- Installation scope and detailed cost break-down

- Provision of data cabling and associated warranties in association with the existing network topology
- Electrical installation and full electrical certification
- Commissioning of the wireless switch and access point on-site

Working on a "Zero Accident Policy" ZAP imitative, J Brand welcomed the 2005 Working At Height Regulations. With over 90 engineers with IPAF MEWP licenses, the potential problem of working at height is no barrier to J Brand carrying out the installation in line with current health and safety legislation.
Another key offering into the logistics world is the ability for J Brand to offer "in-cab" solutions. For vans, lorries and fork lift trucks J Brand will deliver in-cab solutions to fit in with customer installation requirements and delivery schedules. Whether that means working through the night or at weekends, an installation program will be compiled by the J Brand project manager to ensure the minimum of down time.
In terms of technology, the most recent hot-topic is RFID. Having been involved in a number of RFID projects, J Brand is ideally placed to offer independent advice and solutions in this new and exciting area.
